The See Myself in Books Festival returns this March, celebrating stories where every child can see themselves on the page.

From 9–20 March 2026, bestselling authors will visit schools, libraries and community venues across Manchester. Through talks, readings and interactive events, children will discover inspiring books with characters they can relate to.

Highlights include a flagship event at Stoller Hall and special sessions in local libraries.

Families can also borrow featured books for free from Manchester libraries.
