Stan: a powerful tale of friendship and dinosaurs

Family friendly

two green plastic toy dinosaurs stand on artificial grass - they are each held by a hand.

Young dinosaur fanatics will love this new family theatre show about friendship and…you guessed it….dinosaurs.

Sam is a happy, dinosaur loving 8-year-old whose world turns upside down after his parents separate. However, when he takes himself off to the far end of the school playground he meets Alex. Alex is a deaf girl with a vivid imagination – and an impressive collection of dinosaurs.

Bonding over boring packed lunches and their favourite T-Rex, the pair form a new friendship. And when things at home become too difficult, Alex whisks Sam away on a thrilling adventure to meet Stan, the huge T-Rex at Manchester Museum.

Stan features awesome animated dinosaurs and is written and performed in English and British Sign Language. The show also embeds creative captions within the set.
