A celebration of ageing and creativity, The Elders is a programme of events and activities for older people at the Royal Exchange Theatre.

There are a variety of sessions happening throughout the year. Some events need to be booked in advance and others you can just turn up for.

You’ll find regular meet-ups for play-reading, creative writing and drama as well as the ever-fabulous Elders Company, a year-long creative programme to develop theatre skills for people aged 60+.
