Castlefield Gallery recently celebrated its 40th birthday. If you’ve never visited before – now is the time to go.

From February 2025, the gallery will host two special art displays. You’ll be able to see drawings by artist Matthew Wood alongside an interactive artwork by Kay Shah, in the lower level of the gallery.

There will also be a full programme of events too, including talks, readings, screenings, performance, creative workshops, and more.

Plus, Castlefield Gallery’s top floor will be transformed into a pop-up shop and social space.
