Prepare for the Year of the Dragon with an evening of friendship and celebration at Manchester Museum.

Join the Museum for live performances and workshops to help you create your own Lunar New Year decorations. You’ll also have the chance to hang your wishes for the new year on a blossom tree in the Main Hall.

The evening will start with a stunning Lion Dance, followed by music from Manchester-based Chinese music ensemble Oriental Breeze, and a host of fun workshops.

Try your hand at bracelet-making, calligraphy and origami or pop into one of our Taichi taster sessions.
