Arts Award: Discover In A Day

Family friendly

A young boy with brown hair is sitting at a big grey table and drawing with colourful pen. Next to him is an adult woman in a black T-shirt who is looking at his drawing. There are many pens, crayons and toys all over the table and other children and adults sitting in the background.

Are you looking for fun and creative things to keep your little (and not so little!) ones occupied this summer?

Manchester Jewish Museum are offering a one-day Arts Award workshop for children (aged 7-13) this summer.

The Arts Award helps young people begin their creative journey. By exploring the art world, they will discover their potential as artists and develop leadership skills. They’ll also gain a recognised qualification too.

There will be lots of hand-on activities including sketching, collage, and ceramic art. And over the course of the day, young people will complete a logbook, which they can take home. They’ll also receive their ‘Arts Award Discover’ certificate after the session.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Lunch is included – you can book a vegetarian lunchbox from the museum’s Cafe with your ticket.
