This October half-term marks the return of the Children’s Football Writing Festival.

Fan favourite Matt Oldfield, writer of Unbelievable Football and co-author of the Ultimate Football Heroes series, will be running one of his popular and lively workshops.

For this creative writing session, the theme will be the upcoming World Cup 2022 tournament. The activity runs for one hour, and Matt will stay behind afterwards to answer all of your burning questions. He’ll also sign copies of his books, which are available to purchase from the museum shop.

This Children’s Football Writing Festival activity is included in your admission ticket, and is free for City of Manchester residents.
