Experience art differently this winter. See the world through the eyes of the much-loved artist David Hockney in Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away) at Aviva Studios.

Using huge moving pictures and surround sound, the artwork fills the space with colour, music and stories from Hockney’s incredible 60-year career. As you journey through this interactive art show, you’ll follow the artist’s journey from sunny Los Angeles to the countryside of Yorkshire and Normandy. You’ll see how he paints, draws on his iPad and even “draws with a camera”.

You’ll hear Hockney’s own voice as he explains how he makes art and also, how he sees the world. A bright, joyful experience that shows how one of Britain’s best-loved artists continues to find beauty in everything around him.
