Every Thursday afternoon this autumn, visitors to Elizabeth Gaskell’s House can enjoy ‘First Edition Thursday’. The friendly volunteers will showcase a different rare book from the House’s collection, giving you the chance to see it up close in the Dining Room.

Just drop in between 1.30 pm and 3:00 pm to discover these special treasures as part of your general admission ticket.
