Artist and author Carol Isaacs will host a cooking workshop inspired by her graphic novel and film The Wolf of Baghdad.

You will be invited to cook, prepare and eat a range of different dishes mentioned in Carol Isaacs’ novel The Wolf of Baghdad. Bake slow-cooked brown egg pittas and date cookies.

Meet new people and learn about Iraqi recipes and cooking traditions. You’ll be able to listen to some Iraqi-Jewish music too. Carol will also discuss themes from her graphic novel and film with the group.

You’ll also get to share a pot of black tea and your baked goods at the end of the workshop.

The workshop is taking place as part of the Manchester Jewish Museum‘s Foodie Group but newcomers are always welcome.

If you would like to take part in the workshop, please email gemma@manchesterjewishmuseum.com.
