2023 marks our 200th anniversary year of Manchester Art Gallery and the start of some building repairs. While the renovations are taking place, many artworks will be moved around the site and into different gallery spaces.

While the light in the Entrance Hall is being refurbished, the paintings that were hung on the first-floor balcony have been removed. They can now be found online, in this new art display of friendships, animals and family from the 19th to 21st centuries.
