Prepare for the Year of the Snake with an evening of colour and joy at Manchester Museum.

The annual Lunar New Year celebration has become a highlight of the Museum’s calendar and this year’s event promises music, dance, food and more.

There will be a range of exciting performances, from a lion dance, traditional Chinese dance and choir singing to K-pop and C-pop.

There will also be an acrobatics display, try-on costume sessions and activities for all the family to get stuck into throughout the evening.

Plus, if you get a bit peckish, you can taste Malaysian and Taiwanese food, and sip on a boba tea.
