Come and join Manchester Jewish Museum for a creative session where you’ll bake some delicious, syrupy Basbousa.

Originating in Egypt, Basbousa are sweet syrup-soaked cakes. You can also find similar sugary delights in Jordan and Turkey.

For this 60-minute workshop, you’ll take inspiration from the beautiful patterns in the walls and windows of the synagogue to decorate and shape your Basbousa.

Come along for a sweet, artistic, and historical journey.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please email gemma@manchesterjewishmuseum.com in advance with any dietary requirements.
