Make It! Tahini and Honey Cookies (All ages welcome)

Family friendly

A still life image displays a white plate with three round, golden-brown cookies heavily coated in sesame seeds, positioned next to a large glass jar filled with more of the same cookies. The jar sits on a dark slate board with "Tahini Cookies" written in chalk. The background shows a blurred cafe counter with various equipment.

Love Manchester Jewish Museum’s café’s famous tahini and honey cookies? Well, now you can learn to make them yourself.

Join this fun, hands-on workshop inspired by Libyan flavours and the story of Effraim Nahum, who moved from Libya to Manchester in 1876. You’ll get to bake, hear about award-winning Libyan honey, and enjoy time in the museum galleries and synagogue.

This workshop is open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Ingredients are vegetarian and Kosher approved.

Come get stuck in and bake something sweet.
