Experience the magic of the ‘Mid-Autumn Festival’ during a packed day of celebration at Manchester Museum.

Also known as the Moon Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a harvest festival celebrated in Chinese culture. Families get together to enjoy mooncakes, admire the moon, and celebrate with lanterns.

Manchester Museum is celebrating the festival with a series of fun activities for everyone, including lantern-making and pop-up card-making workshops. There will also be artwork by Thomas Yuen on display, and special tours of the Chinese Culture Gallery.
