This year’s Universally Manchester Festival builds on last year’s fantastic 200th-anniversary celebrations with a fresh, family-friendly, one-day event.

Last year, The University of Manchester marked its 200th birthday with an incredible four-day festival featuring over 150 free events — from inspiring talks and live music to hands-on science activities and creative workshops. For 2025, you can expect another exciting celebration that brings together music, science and arts – something for the whole family.

Once again, access to the festival is free and everybody is invited. However, some of the most popular events will be ticketed.

Save the date. We’ll bring you more details on the festival once we have them.
