Get ready to flap your wings at this bird-themed rave at Manchester Museum.

Before you hit the dancefloor, you’ll be able to create your own bird costume in one of the workshops, running throughout the day. The Bird Rave dancers will perform at 2.15 pm and 3.30 pm and there will be a rave dance workshop at 2.45 pm.

The birds you’ll be able to spot on the day include Arctic Tern, Hummingbird, European Nightjar, Hooded Crow, Andean Cock-of-the-rock, Yellow-crested Cockatoo, Raven, Blue-backed Manakin, Penduline Tit and Tufted Titmouse.

Plus, the RSPB will be dropping in too, to host even more fun activities and tell you all about your favourite birds.
