Enjoy a summer of family fun at Elizabeth Gaskell’s House.

Head to Elizabeth Gaskell’s House for a range of budget-friendly activities for all ages. Drop in on Wednesdays or Thursdays for creative workshops included as part of the admission price.

Kids can go on a garden adventure with nature writer Anita Sethi, make their own book with writer and artist Stevie Ronnie, weave art and words together with artist Eleanor Godfrey, or create a Garden of Home with their favourite treasures alongside artist Katherine Harrison.

There’s plenty more to enjoy too – including the ‘Cranford the Cat’ family trail, Victorian dress-up and traditional garden games and crafts.

Just book your general ticket for the day you want to visit and join in as much as you like.

Adult admission is £8.50 (valid for 12 months) and children go free with a paying adult.
