More in Common: In Memory of Jo Cox is a new exhibition at the People’s History Museum. The exhibition is inspired by the legacy of the British politician, Jo Cox.

The event takes a look at Jo Cox’s life and work. You can find out more about her personal life and also about her work as an MP. Her drive to improve education for all, promote community and address loneliness. Head to this exhibition to find out more about Jo and the way she lived her life.

At the exhibition, you’ll find the Jo Cox Memorial Wall. The wall was erected outside the Houses of Parliament following Jo’s murder in 2016. With handwritten tributes from hundreds of people, the Memorial Wall stands alongside a virtual Wall of Hope at PHM. Visitors to the museum and online can add their personal tribute messages. Also on display are placards, banners and artworks that were created following Jo’s murder. And younger visitors and families can experience Jo’s story by completing a special trail through the museum.

The event can also be experienced online for those who are unable to get to the museum.
