Bank Holiday Things to Do in Manchester

Come rain or shine, we love an extended weekend. With much to enjoy right across the city, take a look at our guide for bank holiday things to do in Manchester.

Make the most of those precious days off together with a trip to one of Manchester’s many parks. South of the city – Wythenshawe Park and Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens – are great for running wild, while further north Heaton Park always has plenty going on.

Why not take a trip to the city centre? The Science and Industry Museum and the Football Museum are guaranteed to keep everyone happy. There’s also lots going on at The Whitworth and Manchester Museum.

Additionally, adventure seekers should head for the mountain bike trails near Clayton Vale. And also Projekts Skatepark tucked under the Mancunian Way.  Lots of fun for all ages right in the heart of our city.
