Discover a bold and imaginative exhibition by contemporary artist Le Bas at The Whitworth. Her work explores big ideas like identity, belonging and where we come from, using colourful materials such as embroidery, painting, sculpture and large installations. You’ll see new and recent pieces, including a huge mural first shown at Glastonbury Festival, alongside artworks from the Whitworth’s own collection.

The exhibition also explores magic, folklore and storytelling, and includes work by other artists past and present. A special performance space hosts live events and creative activities, making this a lively place to visit. The show also proudly includes work by Venture Arts artists Sarah Lee and Leslie Thompson, adding even more voices and perspectives to this rich and inspiring exhibition.
