Looking for a new springtime adventure? Take a trip to Elizabeth Gaskell’s House for a great day out with friends and family.

There’s something for all ages to enjoy. Take part in an Easter Egg Trail around the house and then explore the beautiful gardens. There is also a little free chocolate treat for the children at the end of the trail – just head to the Tea Room.

You’ll find Easter craft in the Servants Hall, and dress-up, colouring and hands-on activities – all included in admission. Plus, parents and carers can treat themselves to tea and cake as they keep watch.

Kids under 16 go free with a paying adult, and all activities are included in admission. Adult tickets last for 12 months too – so you can visit as often as you like.

Please note Elizabeth Gaskell’s House is open on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, and Easter activities will take place from 11:00 am – 4:30 pm on the following dates:

Sunday 6 April, Wednesday 9 April, Thursday 10 April, Wednesday 16 April, Thursday 17 April and Sunday 20 April.
