Make, create and play this summer at the Science and Industry Museum.

You’ll find a packed programme of activity at the Museum over the summer holidays. Dive into the incredible world of our brilliant bodies and visit the brand-new exhibition Operation Ouch! Food, Poo and You.

Our expert Explainers will be back with a new interactive science show packed with fun facts and wow moments about how and why our amazing bodies are all the same, but different too.

Gamers of all ages can enjoy Power UP. A fantastic gaming experience where families can enjoy playing a variety of video games and consoles together.

Take a fascinating walking trail throughout the Museum’s historic site. You can also join the Museum’s volunteers on Tuesdays and Saturdays to find out more about the objects in the museum.

There’s something for everyone this summer at the Science and Industry Museum.

Add a ticket to explore our world premiere blockbuster exhibition, Operation Ouch! Food, Poo and You, which brings the hit BBC children’s TV series to life. Dive headfirst into the digestive system for an unforgettable journey of super-sized science and discover where our food goes when we eat.

Enjoy family favourites in our free permanent galleries and displays. See science brought to life in Experiment, our interactive gallery for all ages. Meet the machines, people and stories that made Manchester the first industrial city in the Textiles Gallery, and journey through Manchester’s rich legacy of world changing ideas in Revolution Manchester. Plus, explore incredible objects from Professor Stephen Hawking’s office in our special display.
