Discover something new every day this summer at the Science and Industry Museum.

You’ll find a packed activity program at the Museum over the summer holidays – from free pop-up events to live science shows and hands-on activities for the whole family.

Explore the free gallery exhibition, Injecting Hope: The race for the COVID vaccine and uncover the inspiring stories of scientists and innovators around the globe who worked together in tackling the world-wide COVID-19 challenge.

Enjoy family favourites in the free permanent galleries and displays. See science brought to life in Experiment, an interactive gallery for all ages. Meet the machines, people and stories that made Manchester the first industrial city in the Textiles Gallery, and journey through Manchester’s rich legacy of world-changing ideas in Revolution Manchester. You can also explore incredible objects from Professor Stephen Hawking’s office in a special display.

Plus, from 19 to 25 August, you can enjoy Pride activities in the Conversation space, celebrating LGBTQ+ stories ahead of Manchester Pride.
